Red is the best, and this splashable four-cost one will have everyone may discard and draw five, so no one has too, and then foes will eat five damage too

By going wide with Pirates, you can have a surge of lore that, if not outright win you the game, will have enough of an impact to make it almost impossible for your opponent to catch up

It does work quite nicely with pump spells though, so that might be a nice combo to help you draw a ton of cards
